Founded 70 years ago by Professor Arnoldo Wald, the firm specializes in strategic legal advice, focused on building tailored solutions for our clients.
Since 1953, we have worked on landmark disputes, with an extensive record of victories in cases of major importance to our clients and to the country. Our work spans both the pre-litigation stage, advising clients in negotiations and mediation, and the litigation stage, acting in court proceedings and in domestic and international arbitration.
We also work on the advisory side, in contracts, mergers and acquisitions, including privatizations carried out by the Brazilian State. We represent our clients before the main government agencies and bodies, such as the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN), ANEEL, ANTT and ANATEL.
With years of experience defending the interests of companies in court-supervised reorganizations and bankruptcies, the firm also stands out for its work as judicial administrator, having served in some of the largest court-supervised reorganizations in Brazil.
